True Confessions Link-Up

Welcome to the True Confessions link-up!

(I'm kinda new to blogging, so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong.)

In response to the feedback I received from my Confessions post from last week, I'm proposing that you write your own confessions post! The heart behind this link-up is to combat the "impression management" that we all struggle with such a culture as ours, where it's easy to appear perfect and put-together and hide our weaknesses behind a computer screen. Instead of drawing attention to ourselves and our goodness, the desire is to lay down the little idols we make of our reputation and shine a bigger spotlight on the goodness and perfection of Christ. Whether you participate as a mom, a future mom, a wife, or a regular human being, it doesn't matter. (You might not want to share personal things about your marriage, however, unless your husband approves.)

Here's what to do:

1. Read the post if you haven't already. Then, write one on your own blog.

2. Grab a button below and include it in your true confessions post.

3. Link directly back to your true confessions post (not your blog address).

4. Visit at least 3 other linked posts and leave sweet and gracious comments for them. :) We all know that comments feel so good! So leave comments.
