A friend from college has been going through some immensely challenging circumstances with his daughter, Josephine. You can read about it here.
Although we had a small taste of suffering with Israel's diagnosis, I have never come close to the depth of pain my friend's family is experiencing. I'm incredibly grateful that our Father, however, knows it intimately, and they are in his care.
Josephine, you are why Jesus came. Your sweet life shows us how badly humanity needs to be rescued. You point people to the cross. What a lofty calling for such a little girl.
